BJBB: Takao [ Diamond ]

Before she called herself Takao, Mikazuki Maboroshi is one of the individuals who were empathetic toward both human and hybrid. She was born a hybrid but her twin sister was not. Raised and loved by a human father, the twins lived a luxurious life. Her father loved Mikazuki despite she was a hybrid. Thus, he became empathetic toward hybrid so he can understand his daughter. Her father began helping bunnies in the outskirt by providing foods and clothing. However, that lead him to his arrest by the POSRA. Though Mikazuki and her sister did not get arrested, they both decided to help the citizen of Pearson fight back POSRA and their strict enforcement. After POSRA had been defeated, their father was released and reunited with his daughters. However, Mikazuki was sent to BJBB camp because she was a hybrid.

▼ B E G I N N I N G

There was once a man name Takuma Maboroshi who lead a life of luxury. Taking over his family's business, he became a CEO. During the course of running the business, he fell in love with one of his employee. After building the courage, he confessed his feelings to her. Accepting his feelings, together, they got married in a few years.

After a few years of their marriage, Takuma's wife was pregnant. When the doctors was scanning the gene of the babies, they found out that one of the twin had the genes of the rabbit. Even after hearing that, the Takuma and his wife were a little surprised by it. But overall, they were not shaken by it. Bunny or not, the two would share their love to their two daughters.

Takuma's wife died during childbirth. Although, she was able to give birth two the healthy twins. As his tears dripped down onto his two daughters, he swore to his wife that he will raise them.

Ever since they could recall, Mikazuki and Izayoi has lived a life of luxury. Despite the pair were twins, they were exactly the opposite of each other.

Izayoi has always been a crybaby ever since she was young. Due to her soft and caring nature, she always cry at the pain of others especially for her older twin sister who always get in trouble. Her timid behavior made her an easy target for bullies and mocked. Weak and selfless, it was as if she could not do anything for herself. However, Mikazuki was stronger than her younger twin sister. Despite that she was a target for discrimination because of her ears, she had an iron will. She always selflessly hurt herself to protect her younger twin sister.

Ever since the two were born, Takuma has became empathetic toward the bunnies living in the outskirt of Pearson City because of Mikazuki. He began bringing foods and clothes to the outskirt to support the bunny living in poverty. HE also sponsored many groups that provide help to the bunny living in the outskirt. He had hired a female bunny to become a caretaker for the twin. The caretaker, Anna, was a kind woman who was very grateful to Takuma for hiring her so she can support her family. To the twins, Anna filled in the role of a motherly figure. The twin asked Anna what was it like to live in the outskirt. In response, Anna narrated her life. Every bunny in the outskirt were poor and their standard of living was very low. Some committed wrong deed in order to survive, and Anna was not different from them either. She committed thievery from her own kind. She wanted to support her family but she used the wrong action to do so. She wanted to stop but a bunny like her won't be able to get a decent job. That's why she was very happy when Takuma hired her, and now she does not need to steal anymore. Living a life of poverty, her family was the only people in the world that made her happy.

Ever since Anna has told Mikazuki and Izayoi her life, the twin has been interested to see what the outskirt was like. But as young children, their father said that he would take them when they get older

At the age of sixteen, Mikazuki and Izayoi was brought to the outskirt of Pearson City by their father to see what the outskirt is like.

As they arrived to the outskirt, the twin were shocked. It was much worst than what Anna has told them. The twin's life was comfortable and filled of wonderful foods but in the outskirt, the bunnies were living as if there was no future ahead of them. All they can do is survive, hoping for a life better than this. Mikazuki was angry-- Not at the situation, but to herself. Though it wasn't her fault, she felt ashamed. She knew the situation for rabbit for she experienced the discrimination. Also, she knew that majority of the rabbit had a low standard of living yet there was nothing she can do at her age. Looking at her beautiful dress, she gripped onto it as if she was crushing it.

Ever since she went there, Mikazuki and Izayoi wanted to support the bunnies living in outskirt. Up until the age of nineteen, they always been helping their father supporting the bunny in the outskirt. The three became a symbol of a possible relationship between humanity and bunnies.

Though her father was the one who started to help the bunnies and contributed more to it than his daughters, the twins were very famous among the bunnies in the outskirt and humans who pursued a peaceful relationship between human and bunnies. The two were a bunny and a human living together who gave each other unconditional love. To the bunnies and human, they were a symbol of relationship. Izayoi was kind and gentle, and Mikazuki was noble and strong. In response, Mikazuki wanted to be called 'Takao' because it means noble and virtue.

Until... A martial law was passed.
For a couple of days, the street of Pearson City was enforced strictly by the POSRA. Both bunny and human are being indiscriminately apprehended without warrant. Mikazuki and Izayoi's father was also apprehended under suspicions of helping the 'terrorist' group by providing foods. Although it was a false arrest, their father told his daughters to not do anything since they weren't being arrested. The company was also shut down by the POSRA since it was also under suspicion of helping the terrorist group.

The POSRA's activity wasn't as bad at first but it got worst gradually. Citizen began losing jobs. Soon, Pearson's economy fell, and many citizen began losing their homes. The riot got worst and worst to the point blood has been spilled. Though there isn't a lot of death in the street, there has been rumors about apprehended citizen being dispatched-- In other word, executed. Half of the citizen blamed the terrorist group for causing this chaos. The other half blamed POSRA for their misuse of profound power.

Mikazuki and Izayoi lost their home. Anna went back to the outskirt to stay with her family. Though Anna offered Mikazuki and Izayoi to stay with her family until the chaos was over, Mikazuki and Izayoi chose to not stay with Anna so they can cooperate with the citizen to stop POSRA. Thus with their influence, they created a small group composed of human and rabbit alike to fight for a common cause. Though some members are bitter about the mixed group of human and rabbit, they could not stop POSRA without cooperating with each other.

This went on merely for six months at most until the 'terrorist' group called the BJBB announced themselves all over Pearson City. Their leader lighted the flame of hope within majority of the citizen. Mikazuki and Izayoi along with many other citizen rallied under BJBB to quell the chaos across Pearson City. Struggles after struggles, they finally stopped POSRA.

▼ A F T E R M A T H

It was expected that chaos to end after the civil war but it did not. The economy was heavily damaged. 
Homes were lost to many citizen. 
Resources across Pearson City was low.

Those who were arrested during the martial law were released. Mikazuki and Izayoi's father was also released and was reunited with his daughters. With the loving arms of his daughters, he felt happy to see their daughters safe and sound. Though they were back together once more, they were forced to separate again.

Refugee Camps were built for citizen who have lost their home. Human lives in government-sponsored refugee camps, but bunny lives in BJBB's refugee camps. Why? There are two reasons most likely: There are human who still hold bitterness toward to bunnies so it was to protect bunnies from those type of human. Also, there are not a lot of space in government refugee camps.

Since Mikazuki is a bunny, she was forced to separate from her sister and her father. Guided by the BJBB members, she was sent to the BJBB's refugee camp.
